BOLT BOMB Concentrated hooking power! The compact design carries a greater proportion of the weight along the length of the lead, with a broad ‘shoulder’ increasing the relative weight towards the swivel. With a high surface area in contact with the lake bed the lead offers greater resistance when the carp initially pricks itself. The shape lends itself to feeling the lead down as the flat bottom slows the leads descent slightly and the greater surface area transmits the nature of the lake bed better than more tapered lead shapes.

FLAT PEAR INLINE The flat design ensures the largest possible surface area is ‘on the deck’ and the thicker nose heavy shape gives the greatest possible weight where it’s most needed, where the rig swivel is pushed into the integral lead insert. This means that these leads offer the highest possible resistance when a carp picks up the hook bait and then pulls the hook point further into the fish’s mouth when it first starts to take hold.
This is a particularly effective lead shape when it’s being used on hard clean spots and for setting traps in the edge.

The classic extreme range lead shape – Torpedo Distance leads are designed as an out and out long range pattern. The shape cuts through the air effectively helping you get that little bit further on the most extreme casts.
This pattern is also extremely useful in the smallest sizes for casting at showing carp as they can be feathered to land with the least possible disturbance. The long, pointed shape makes them particularly useful when used in conjunction with chod rigs – as the hook can’t catch on the underside of the lead upon retrieval.
